The Lomi Lomi "spark"

There are things in life, that if you love, you sit and think about.

Lomi Lomi is one of those things for me. I think about it for many reasons - as a guidance system to live my life, to be up to date with my emotions and spirit and all the little connections in between those things - but also, because I often think about how to explain an experience, or a concept.

And that's what Lomi really is. An experience. It is ineffable, because it is different for everyone.

But, I believe the one thing that everyone has in common in that experience, is that it sparks the desire within you to be all you can be in the best possible way for yourself.

Somehow, Lomi brings awareness to your life and you are able to see things more clearly, from a different perspective, and you begin to notice the possibilities and opportunities that you maybe were not aware of before.

It does this on a cellular level - yes, you read that right - cellularly. There's a sense of consciousness it brings to life that is brought out through the patterns of the movements the practitioner uses. It's NOT just working ON you, but it IS working THROUGH you. There's clearing and weaving happening.

Maybe too far out for some of you to grasp. That's okay. There is a quote by author Rima M. Morrell that states this feeling eloquently,

We journey by removing subconscious blocks, as well as by growing in consciousness and its use.

So, that's so beautifully stated, assisting me in summarizing this: Lomi brings us to a point of action in our lives. That "magic" of Hawai'i works in all ways everywhere.
